Job Listing: Maintenance Person/HVAC Technician

We are seeking a reliable, capable, and hardworking Maintenance Person (HVAC Technicians that have passed all three sections of the EPA 608 Exam a plus) to help keep our residential and commercial rental properties safe, clean, and in good working condition. This role is responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, inspections, and general upkeep of buildings and grounds.

Key Responsibilities

●       Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs, including plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.

●       Inspect buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.

●       Replace light bulbs, filters, fixtures, and other basic components as needed.

●       Respond promptly to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.

●       Use hand and power tools safely and practice workplace safety.

●       Keep records of completed repairs and report larger issues that require outside service.

Qualifications

●       High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

●       HVAC technician (passing all 3 sections of EPA Section 608 exam) a plus.

●       Previous maintenance, handyman, facilities, or related experience preferred.

●       Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building repair.

●       Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

●       Strong problem-solving skills, dependability, and attention to detail.

●       Ability to work independently and manage time well.

●       Valid driver’s license with good driving record required.

Schedule and Physical Requirements

This is a full time position which may include some occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call response. Candidates should be able to stand, bend, climb ladders, lift moderate weight, and work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
