Your Role: HVAC Technician

Fountain Services is currently seeking motivated HVAC Technicians to join our growing team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced professionals to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems across commercial, residential, and industrial settings. You will gain hands-on experience with tools, equipment, and industry best practices while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards. Service calls are performed throughout North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina, providing a diverse range of project experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, piping, and equipment
 • Perform routine maintenance such as filter changes, coil cleaning, and system inspections
 • Support troubleshooting and repair of heating and cooling systems
 • Load, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment on job sites
 • Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and installation instructions
 • Maintain clean and safe work environments
 • Document work performed and communicate progress with supervisors
 • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations

Skills and Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in HVAC or construction-related field (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
 • High school diploma or GED
 • Must pass a mandatory drug screening
 • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
 • Strong work ethic and reliability
 • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
 • HVAC certification or EPA 608 certification (preferred but not required)

Physical Requirements

• Lift 50+ pounds
 • Work from ladders, rooftops, or confined spaces
 • Perform tasks requiring repetitive reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and bending
 • Work in all climate conditions, including heat and cold
 • Maintain good balance, coordination, and stamina to perform physically demanding labor
