HVAC Technician

TMC Staffing is seeking HVAC Technicians to install, maintain, and repair climate control and refrigeration systems to ensure residential and commercial units operate safely and efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities:

• System Installation: Mount and connect HVAC components, such as compressors, condensers, evaporator coils, and ductwork according to technical blueprints and safety codes. 
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine tune-ups (e.g., cleaning ducts, replacing filters) and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools like multimeters.
• Refrigerant Management: Handle, recover, and recycle refrigerants in strict compliance with EPA regulations.
• Electrical Integration: Wire low-voltage connections, thermostats, and control systems linked to HVAC units. 
• Customer Service: Explain system issues, provide repair estimates, and sell maintenance service contracts to clients. 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED, plus completion of an HVAC vocational program.
• EPA 608 Certification (required for handling refrigerants).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces like attics or crawl spaces.
