The HVAC Installer is responsible for the professional installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. This position requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Install new HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, thermostats, and ventilation systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
Inspect existing systems and determine necessary modifications for installation or replacement.
Follow blueprints, specifications, and job plans to ensure accurate installation.
Test installed equipment for proper performance and compliance with safety regulations.
Braze, solder, and perform basic sheet metal fabrication as needed.
Maintain clean and organized job sites at all times.
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members.
Complete installation documentation and submit reports as required.
Comply with all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Assist with training apprentices or junior installers as assigned.
Full-time position; schedule may include evenings or weekends as required by workload or seasonal demand.
Work is performed indoors and outdoors, occasionally in extreme weather conditions.

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years of HVAC installation experience preferred.
EPA 608 Certification required (or ability to obtain).
Valid driverβs license and clean driving record.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environmental conditions (hot, cold, confined spaces, rooftops, etc.).
