Senior Commercial HVAC Technician

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team in Austin, TX. This position is ideal for a motivated technician with a strong background in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining commercial HVAC systems. The successful candidate will work with a variety of commercial equipment while delivering exceptional service to customers throughout the Austin market. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment Perform preventative maintenance inspections and service Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, air handlers, package units, and VRF systems Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend corrective actions Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical documentation Complete service reports and maintain accurate records Communicate professionally with customers and team members Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards Participate in scheduled on-call rotations as needed Qualifications Minimum 4 years of commercial HVAC experience EPA Certification required Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities Experience servicing commercial HVAC equipment Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work independently in the field Preferred Qualifications Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) NATE Certification VRF, chiller, or boiler experience Manufacturer certifications (Daikin, Trane, Carrier, Johnson Controls, etc.) Benefits Competitive compensation Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) with Company Match Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Company Vehicle (where applicable) Ongoing Technical Training Career Advancement Opportunities
